2008-2009: Fellowship during PhD at Center for Catalysis, University of Aarhus, Denmark

2010: PhD in ‘Applied enzymatic and chemical synthesis, XXII Cycle” under the supervision of Prof. Saverio Florio and Prof. Renzo Luisi at Pharmacy Department, University of Bari

2010: 6 months fellowship at Interuniversity Consortium ‘CINMPIS’, Bari

2012: Visiting researcher at the University of Göttingen, Inorganic Chemistry Department

2010-2016: Postdoc researcher at the Institute of Crystallography, (IC), CNR, Bari

2016-: Staff Researcher (Permanent Position) at IC, CNR, Bari

 

Attività di ricerca

At present main research interests are:

  • Crystallization of inorganic or organic small molecule as well as and organo-metallic intermediated of reactions and small peptides
  • Structural Solution from powder and single crystal diffraction by using EXPO for the extraction of integrated intensities from a powder diffraction pattern and for the crystal structure solution via Direct Methods and SIR1 for the automatic solution of single crystal structures by Direct and Patterson Methods
  • Qualitative analysis of polycrystalline mixtures by using QUALX program for phase identification of powder diffraction data
