LABORATORY OF STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY – IC MONTELIBRETTI

The Laboratory of Structural Biology is aimed to:

• Expression and Purification of proteins;
• Crystallization of proteins;
• Study of protein/protein and protein/ligand interactions

• Pioneer AE (Surface Plasmon Resonance);
• FPLC Biorad Duo Flow;
• Optical Microscopes Olympus;
• Spectrophotometer UV-VIS;
• Centrifuges;
• Sonicator;
• Incubators;

For automated crystallization trials we have access to Crystallization facility Robot Matrix E-drop at La Sapienza University (Dept. of Biochemistry). Data collections are performed at diffraction beam-line facilities of Elettra (Trieste) and ESRF (Grenoble).
