Aims and Target Audience

The event is jointly organized by the Institute of Crystallography (IC) of the National Research Council (CNR) in Bari, the Department of Earth and Geoenvironmental Sciences at the University of Bari, and the Department of Civil, Environmental, Land, Building Engineering and Chemistry of the Polytechnic University of Bari. The AIC Congress offers three days of sessions dedicated to the latest advances in structural science, featuring plenary and keynote lectures by internationally renowned scientists.

The scientific program spans a broad range of topics, including advanced structural characterization methods, crystal chemistry of minerals, sustainable energy materials, crystal growth, crystal engineering, structural biology, and crystallography dissemination. It is designed to foster scientific exchange between established experts and early-career researchers, highlighting the central role of crystallography in modern science.
