AIC School 2026 – Crystallography: From Basic Principles to Emerging Horizons, Bari 20-23 July 2026

Aim and Target Audience 

The School is addressed to: young scientists, PhD students, and early-career researchers, who wish to gain a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical foundations and the latest developments of modern crystallography. 

Topics 

• From Diffraction to Structure Determination Tissue Engineering 

• Structure Solution and Refinement: Methods and Software  

• Methods, Techniques and Computation in Crystallography  

• The Multifaceted and Interdisciplinary Character of Crystallography  

Poster and Short oral contribution Sessions 

Participants will also be invited to present their crystallographic research through poster sessions or short oral contributions. 

Grants and Prizes 

AIC, SIMP, CCDC, ICDD grants covering the participation fee are available. 

Two Best Poster Prizes will be awarded by the IUCr. 

The school is also sponsored by Excelsus, Rigaku, Assing, ThermoFisher, Crystals.
