Nanna Vittoria

Vittoria Nanna obtained her M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology cum laude at the University of Bari ‘Aldo Moro’ in 2019. She carried out her PhD research from 2019 to 2022 at Leibniz Universität Hannover (Germany), working on NMR-based structural determination methods under the supervision of Prof. Teresa Carlomagno, and defended her PhD in 2025. Between 2022 and 2024 she held a Research Associate position at the University of Birmingham (United Kingdom), before joining the National Research Council, Institute of Crystallography, in Bari, in 2024, where she currently works as a Researcher in the In-silico design laboratory (INSIDEL@b) led by Dr. Giuseppe Felice Mangiatordi.

Her expertise spans the full pipeline of structural biology, from molecular cloning and protein expression in E. coli to affinity and size-exclusion purification, biophysical characterization, and structure determination, through to computational structural biology, including molecular dynamics simulations, virtual screening, and drug discovery.
