Convenzione Operativa Tra L’istituto Di Cristallografia Del Consiglio Nazionale Delle Ricerche E Il Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra, dell’Ambiente e delle Risorse dell’Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II

A technical-scientific collaboration between the Department of Earth, Environmental and Resources Sciences (DiSTAR) of the University of Naples Federico II and the Institute of Crystallography of the CNR (CNR-IC), aimed at the study and characterization of natural and synthetic minerals and materials.

Specifically, the agreement focuses on the joint project titled “Caratterizzazione Strutturale e Chimica di Materiali Naturali e di Sintesi”, which includes:

• Morphological and chemical analysis of minerals and rocks from various Italian regions.

• Study of synthetic materials like phosphates and dental ceramics.

• Characterization of natural, treated, and synthetic gemstones.

• Structural solution and semiquantitative analysis of crystalline compounds using CNR-IC’s software tools.

This collaboration is conducted within the framework of a broader institutional agreement and aims to enhance research, training, and scientific dissemination in the fields of mineralogy and materials science.
