Dr. Umme Salma is a researcher and lecturer in the field of chemistry. She earned her PhD in Physical Chemistry from “La Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy, in 2017. With a diverse academic background, including an MSc and MPhil in Chemistry, Dr. Salma has made significant contributions to nanotechnology and structural characterization of materials through various research projects. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with international institutions such as Queen’s University Belfast, contributing to cutting-edge chemistry and materials science research. Dr. Salma has been recognized with several awards, including the prestigious PhD Mobility Fellowship and the Best Teacher Award from Punjab College of Science, Pakistan.

 

Dr. Salma possesses a robust skill set in physical chemistry and materials science. Her expertise spans synthesizing and characterizing advanced materials. She is proficient in molecular dynamics simulations, X-ray diffraction, and electrochemical analysis, focusing on developing innovative sensors and lab-on-chip platforms. Additionally, she has strong computational skills, including experience with Python and project management tools.
