Made in Italy Circolare e Sostenibile
“Made in Italy Circolare e Sostenibile (MICS)” is an Extended Partnership funded by the MUR (Ministry of University and Research) and the European Union under the NextGenerationEU program. It represents one of the projects related to Mission 4 “Education and Research” of the PNRR. The vision of MICS is to enable the design and production of Made in Italy that is circular, self-sufficient, self-regenerating, reliable, safe, and sustainable.
MICS focuses on conducting the fundamental research that underpins this vision. It proposes eight thematic areas, called “Spokes,” to tackle the challenges related to design, production, and consumption models, as well as the end-of-life of materials, products, production technologies, and processes that facilitate the transition to greener and more circular models.
