Our group has a long experience in the crystallization and structural resolution of protein-ligand complexes. The services we provide aim to give atomic resolution structural information of the ligand molecule interacting with the bio-macromolecular target and include:
• final phase of purification of protein samples;
• Evaluation of the quality of the samples by Small Angle X-ray Scattering, electrophoresis and chromatography;
• screening of the crystallization conditions of the protein-ligand complexes by vapor diffusion methods, supported by gel to improve the tolerance of the protein crystals to the soaking conditions;
• Structural determination of protein-binding complexes from X-ray diffraction data.
