Antiseptic Materials for Vehicles Interiors
The AMATEVI project aims to develop polymer formulations with antimicrobial activity to produce functionally active textiles or coatings for vehicle interiors by means of innovative techniques such as electrospinning. Bio-based and recycled plastics from different sources loaded with different amounts of functionalized nanostructures with antimicrobial compounds will be investigated. Prototypes of antimicrobial fabrics/coatings based on the optimized formulations and their microbial activity will be validated in the project.
